Hand-drawn elements and a chalkboard font accompany vibrant photos of the beer and cuisine of the festival. Ticket information is readily accessible and Eventbrite integration allows users to purchase tickets without having to leave the website.

The Challenge

LVCDT needed to update an outdated site with a fresh, contemporary design that reflected the modern artistic vision of the company.

They needed a way keep their audience informed of upcoming performances and events and encourage social media engagement in order to increase performance attendance.

The Re-Design

Their new website is a custom-built, 100% responsive WordPress site, which allows company administrators to easily log in and keep site information and performance schedules up-to-date.

The fully-custom development allows for the company’s incredible dance photography to be used as background images on individual pages, with a unique design and color scheme for each, without slowing down page load time with the excessive use of WordPress plugins.

Dorit Schwartz, a local well-respected sculptor, creates one-of-a-kind modern artwork from pieces of reclaimed wood, stone and other natural elements. Her pieces are displayed in public and private collections around the world, and are available for purchase at the Home Store inside the Wynn Esplanade.

The Challenge

Dorit needed to update her website to reflect the beauty and quality of her inspired collection of artwork, without the cost of a fully-custom design.

The Solution

We searched through hundreds of pre-made WordPress themes to find one that most closely matched her vision for her website, needing only a few minor hacks.

After installation of the theme on a brand new WordPress installation, I adjusted all theme settings and applied some minor changes to the theme code to achieve the desired result.

New Website, New Opportunities

With a stunning gallery, portfolio, and press archive, Dorit’s website now reflects the beauty and professionalism of her work, and helps drive artwork sales to individual collectors.
